Sunday School Begins!

Dear Friends in Christ,

Fall is here and that means Sunday school is back in session starting with Rally Day on September 13. So grateful to all who teach our children and bring the good news of Jesus to our children. We are looking forward to a great year of teaching and fun with our students. We are hoping to put together a confirmation class for this year, reach out if you are fifth grade and older.

We are blessed here at Christ with young families. It is imperative that we encourage our young families to continue to stay involved. The Church of Jesus is a wide and wonderful grouping of people form all ages and walks of life. I am blessed to watch our children grow and learn together. Pray for all of our families!

Next month on October 18, I will be traveling to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Avon Lake, Ohio to preach and preside at the baptism of my new grandson Lucas. I encourage you all to pray for all people who are preparing for baptism. I will share pictures.

Enjoy the fall. Fall is a favorite time of the year for me as the weather cools and the earth prepares for the winter, I embrace the changing of the seasons as God's way of renewing the earth. I am so proud to be your pastor.
